Mental Health International

宗旨与介

世界心理健康联盟,是由澳洲及世界各地华人华侨联合成立的世界性的联盟团体。

本会以“利益世界华人、推动心理健康、致力慈善事业、共促人类健康”为宗旨与目标,由从事心理学的专家、医师、学者,以及热心于心理学推广与心理健康工作的社会人士与慈善人士组成,并联合世界各国的心理健康组织和慈善机构,共同推动心理学知识的普及宣传,提高心理素质,健全人格,减少心理危机事件的出现,提高华人生活质量,并开展各种形式的慈善活动,为人类健康与慈善事业贡献力量。

Mission and Background:

Mental Health International is a global association that brings together Chinese Australians and members of the Chinese community around the world.

We aim to benefit the Chinese community members worldwide, enhance mental health, promote charitable work, and advance the well-being of mankind.

Our organisation is formed by professionals, doctors, researchers, philanthropists and members of the society who are passionate about promoting the fields of psychology and mental well-being.

Through working with various mental health organisations and charities worldwide, together we seek to spread the knowledge of psychology, improve mental well-being and the holistic development of human being, and reduce the incidents related to mental health issues. We also aim to raise living standards for the members of the Chinese community, carry out various charitable activities, and contribute to philanthropy and the health of mankind.

与活

1.向广大华人华侨推广心理健康知识,传播心理健康观念,邀请心理学专家举办各类免费讲座,推动社会对心理健康问题及心理疾患人士的关注与支持;

2.与世界范围内各大心理学协会、各类慈善机构联合举办心理健康宣讲或各类慈善活动;举办各类心理健康的联合会议,推进世界范围对心理健康知识的深化和理解;

3.编印、出版心理健康知识的宣传材料、刊物及书籍;通过电台、电视台、网站等传媒提供公共教育信息;

4.组织心理学学术交流及经验推广活动;

5.积极推动与组织各类慈善与保健活动。

Aims and Activities:

  1. To spread mental health-related knowledge among members of the Chinese community around the world, invite psychologists to organise free workshops or seminars, and to raise the awareness of mental health issues and support those affected by mental disorders;
  2. To work with psychological associations and charities around the world to foster public dissemination of knowledge related to mental health; organise conferences in partnership with mental health organisations worldwide in order to deepen the understanding of mental health;
  3. To provide public educational information about mental health through websites, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting, and publications;
  4. To organise events to facilitate exchanges of ideas and research findings in the fields of psychology;
  5. To actively promote and organise all kinds of charitable activities to enhance the well-being of mankind.

What Is Mental Health?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Over the course of your life, if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected. Many factors contribute to mental health problems, including:

  • Biological factors, such as genes or brain chemistry
  • Life experiences, such as trauma or abuse
  • Family history of mental health problems

Early Warning Signs

Not sure if you or someone you know is living with mental health problems? Experiencing one or more of the following feelings or behaviors can be an early warning sign of a problem:

  • Eating or sleeping too much or too little
  • Pulling away from people and usual activities
  • Having low or no energy
  • Feeling numb or like nothing matters
  • Having unexplained aches and pains
  • Feeling helpless or hopeless
  • Smoking, drinking, or using drugs more than usual
  • Feeling unusually confused, forgetful, on edge, angry, upset, worried, or scared
  • Yelling or fighting with family and friends
  • Experiencing severe mood swings that cause problems in relationships
  • Having persistent thoughts and memories you can’t get out of your head
  • Hearing voices or believing things that are not true
  • Thinking of harming yourself or others
  • Inability to perform daily tasks like taking care of your kids or getting to work or school

什么是心理学?

心理学(英文名称Psychology)是研究人和动物心理现象的发生、发展和活动规律的一门科学,对心理学的研究势必对人类社会具有深远意义的意义。

心理学大致可以分为五个方面,即:、发展心理学(Developmental psychology)、、社会心理学(Society psychology)、临床心理学(Clinical psychology),认知心理学(Cogntive psychology),神经科学(Neuroscience)。

下面做简短的解释:

1、发展心理学:通俗来讲就是研究人的一生全过程各个年龄阶段的心理发展特点,清楚了这些我们就会对身边父母子女的心理状况有大致的了解,同时可以助于我们引导小朋友健康快乐的成长,帮父母疏导心中的“危机感”,给自己规划人生等等。

2、社会心理学:它是研究人与人之间相互影响的科学,我们无时无刻不生活在社会中,我们的学习、工作、恋爱、婚姻都受到人与人关系的影响,我认为它是最为实用重要的,它可以帮助你解释身边很多现象,为什么她喜欢他而不是我?为什么他可以升职而不是我?为什么老公越来越冷淡···这些问题都有其背后的规律,当我们对它有一定了解后一定可以做自己人生的主宰。

3、认知心理学:主要是强调人已有的知识和知识结构对他的行为和当前的认知活动起决定作用。把人看做是电脑可以对信息进行接受、编码、贮存、检索、提取使用。其最重大的成果是在记忆和思维领域的突破性研究。

4、临床心理学:它主要是研究人类变态的行为(不知为什么总感觉国外心理变态的人比国内多),探讨这些行为的论据断、评估、分类、治疗、预防和科学研究。

5、神经科学:寻求了解支持我们情绪生活的生物学基础,是把脑当作心理活动的物质本体来研究脑和心理或脑和行为的关系。

心理学什么时候开始学都不晚,每个人都应该接触一些心理学,生活、学习、恋爱、工作,处处都和心理学有关,学习心理学可以帮助我们更加积极向上,这样才能帮助我们更好的生活!
